Ready-made (or DIY) serial programming / configuration cable for uAvionix ping200X and ping200XR.
This is the connection cable only.
The USB to Serial Adapter with Cable can be bought separately on this website.
Connects your ping200X / ping200XR to a Windows PC with the optional USB to Serial Adapter with Cable so you can run the official ping200X Control & Config application (UAV-1004567-001) for ICAO address, SIL/SDA, registration, baud rate and all other installation settings.
The cable is wired as a crossed (null-modem) connection exactly according to the official uAvionix colour coding using standard MOLEX connectors which needs to be mounted on the ping200X/ping200Xr wiring.

CRITICAL SAFETY NOTES (from official documentation)
- Never connect the Red (aircraft power) wire to the DB9 connector – this can damage the Serial adapter or the ping200X.
- Always power the ping200X from a separate 9–30 V / 11–33 V DC supply.
- Always fit a 50 Ω dummy load or proper antenna on the RF port before applying power.
Two options:
- Buy ready-made – we ship a fully assembled cable (DB9 connector + correctly wired flying leads or Molex female + XT60 female for the battery).
- Build it yourself – free one-page wiring guide available free one-page wiring guide available (or download from our support pages). Only three signal wires + separate power are required.
